Mea Kokua -2nd hand thrift store-(on-site)

We are seeking a volunteer to manage KAEF’s second hand store! This role organizes and maintains the store, posts content on social media as well as schedules pickups from online purchases.

Responsibilities: 

1. Organizing merchandise based on 

2. Create a inviting ambitious for shoppers 

3. Keep shelves stocked 

4. Share KAEF’s mission/Vision/Goals with shoppers

 5. Create a calendar for Mea Kokua volunteers 

6. Keep space clean, dry, decluttered, & pest free 

7. Take photos and create content for social media platforms 

8. Organize pick up times for online shoppers

9. Keep online store/social media up to date

Qualifications: 

● 18 years of age or older, unless accompanied by an adult 18 years of age or older 

● Excellent communication and organizational skills 

● Must be a team player 

Shadow Training of all major volunteer roles 

● On-the-job training with current manage

Time and Place: On-site at the KAEF property and virtual work.

Requirements/Commitment: 

● Overall time commitment: Minimum of 6 months 

Commitment: 

● Overall time commitment: Approximately 6-8 hours work a week

Supervision: Direct supervision by Volunteer Coordinator; indirect supervision by KAEF Executive Director.
