Emergency Department

All volunteers must be at least 18 years old and in their first year of college. 

The volunteer's role is to assist the professional staff responsible for patient care. Volunteers offer a personal touch that hospital personnel may not always have time to provide. They must be compassionate and empathetic, representing the patient's needs by addressing non-medical issues, handling complaints, and providing any support needed to make the visit as comfortable and pleasant as possible.
