Description
Join Diamond Head State Monument and Trees for Kaimuki to help keep the trees and native plants along Fort Ruger Path happy and healthy. Activities may include mulching, weeding, canopy trimming, planting, watering, raking, and seed collecting depending on the needs of the day.
Please wear closed toe shoes, long pants, and a long sleeved shirt. Bring sunscreen, a reusable water bottle, and a hat. Tools, gloves, ice water, and snacks will be provided.
Getting Here
Parking and meeting point are located at the pin below. Enter through the white gates across from the Kapiolani Community College bus stop (Stop ID: 230) . Please arrive promptly. If the gates are closed, the team has already walked over to the main project area for the day at the Millennium Peace Garden. Alternative parking is available at the lot ACROSS from the DOE Facilities Maintenance Branch (4087 Diamond Head Rd) entrance.
