Diamond Head State Monument: Trees for Kaimuki

9/18 Update from our State Parks host:

Due to a fallen tree in the Peace Garden, the workday on Saturday, September 19th has moved to the interior of Diamond Head crater. Drive through the tunnel and let the toll booth staff know you are there to volunteer. They will direct you to parking at the back of the lot where our team will be waiting. Parking may be limited so carpooling is recommended.

Join Hawaii Division of State Parks and Trees for Kaimukī in caring for the community trees and native plants at Diamond Head State Monument. Depending on the day, activities may include removing non-native vegetation, raking, moving green waste, maintaining tree canopies, and planting.

Please bring covered shoes, long pants, long sleeved shirt, sunscreen, reusable water bottle, a hat, and a positive attitude. 

Tools, gloves, ice water and snacks will be provided.
