Museum Volunteer

Greet guests who come to visit Hanaiakamalama (Queen Emma Summer Palace).  Explain house rules to our guests in a friendly and helpful manner.  Learn about the museum through literature and books provided to assist guests who may have questions about the history of the museum.  An interest in Hawaiian History and Guest Services is highly desired.  Option to learn how to be a docent for the museum.  Occasional evening opportunities for tours and weddings.  Discounts at the gift shop after establishing a re-occurring schedule.  

Aloha attire or business casual is requested when volunteering.  A great way to learn Hawaiian History while helping others in a peaceful, culturally rich environment.
