Makai Watch is a statewide program that organizations like ours participate in and develop a program that suits our 'aina's needs. Surveys include monitoring human activity, marine resources, and potential regulatory infractions.
Volunteers will be expected to undergo training with our Makai Watch Coordinator. Once they do, they can conduct monitoring independently and provide reports to the coordinator.
