Operations volunteer

This is a exciting opportunity where the volunteer will get to learn  the big picture needs of an operations volunteer.  The ideal person would be highly curious to understand our sanctuary and residents, and in learning more, can find ways to improve the day-to-day operations. Tasks vary and include :

• Improving and creating organizational structures and processes for the volunteers and animals
• Creating and implementing animal enclosure improvements
• On-site efforts to sustain existing processes (cleaning of general areas, fixing habitat issues, working on solutions with wild chicken flock, landscaping)
• Spending time with the animals to understand their needs as individuals
