Description
Fold a crane, share a smile!
Join VolunteerAlly @KCC Student Chapter in folding 1,000 origami cranes (Senbazuru)! We are handcrafting these cranes as a special gift to bring hope, health, and happiness to a local nonprofit partner! No origami experience? No problem! Our volunteers will teach you. Even just ONE crane makes a huge difference!
Experience Japanese Culture! Origami is the traditional Japanese art of paper folding. In Japan, the crane symbolizes longevity, good fortune, and peace. Folding 1,000 cranes (Senbazuru) is an ancient tradition to wish for the healing and well-being of others. Learn the history while folding for a great cause!
All materials provided! This event will be hosted at the cafeteria!
