Aloha Nuʻuanu 2026

Queen Emma Summer Palace
Description
Join the Daughters of Hawaiʻi in the cool, storied embrace of Hānaiakamalama as we celebrate 50 years of aloha, heritage, and community in the uplands of Nuʻuanu.
Aloha Nuʻuanu on October 17th, 2026 is a community celebration honoring the legacy of Queen Emma through mele, hula, hana noʻeau, live music, ʻono food, and a vibrant mākeke of Native Hawaiian cultural practitioners and local artisans. More than a festival, it is an opportunity to gather in pilina, share aloha, and support the continued preservation and stewardship of this beloved wahi pana.
E Kōkua Mai — Volunteer With Us!
Bringing Aloha Nuʻuanu to life takes many hands and many gifts. We welcome community members, ʻohana, friends, and anyone who feels called to kōkua. Volunteers may assist with welcoming guests, activities, performers and vendors, event operations, and other areas throughout the day.
Complete the form below to share your interests, availability, and skills. We’ll work to connect you with a kuleana where you can best kōkua. No previous experience or connection to the Daughters of Hawaiʻi is necessary, just a willingness to serve with aloha.
E alu like kākou! Come together as we mālama Hānaiakamalama and celebrate 50 years of aloha in Nuʻuanu.
