Native reforestation efforts

Members of the Papio Father Daughter group. Return to the native reforestation project you helped create last year and see the impact of your efforts firsthand. Get hands-on with native Hawaiian plants as you help maintain and strengthen this growing restoration area by monitoring native plants, removing invasive weeds, and caring for the habitat you helped establish. Your continued stewardship helps young native trees and shrubs thrive, supports biodiversity, and ensures that last year’s restoration efforts continue to grow into a healthy and resilient native ecosystem. By returning to care for the forest you helped create, you become part of the long-term commitment needed to restore and protect Hawaii’s native landscapes.

Waiver is required, closed toed shoes are required, and pants and long sleeve shirts are recommended.
