Lā ʻOhana Community Workday

Papahana Kuaola

Description

Itʻs time restore Waipao with your family! With your kōkua we will remove invasive species so our native species will thrive.

Requirements

Come prepared to work outdoors.

1. Bring a water bottle.

2. Wear work/swim clothes (that they don’t mind getting wet or dirty). Towel and a change of clothes if needed.

3. Wear comfortable hiking shoes, tabis, or slippers (that you don’t mind getting wet or dirty).

4. Bring sun protection/natural sunscreen. Try to avoid sunscreens with Oxybenzone, which is known to kill coral reefs and other sea life because it is a toxic hormone disruptor.
