Community Playground Build

Who: Anyone who would like to lend a hand! No previous building experience is needed, and there are no age restrictions.

What: Help us spread gravel across the footprint of Assets School’s new K–8 playground as we near the end of construction. Shovels and buckets are helpful, so please bring one if you have one available.

Where: Assets School’s K–8 campus (1 Ohana Nui Way near the airport), where our new playground is being built.

When: Saturday, October 3, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Drop-ins are welcome, so you don’t need to stay for the entire shift.

Why: Our existing playground is 32 years old and urgently needs to be replaced. After months of planning, construction, and a community build that brought hundreds of volunteers together, we’re in the final stretch. A little more help will get us one step closer to a new playground for our keiki!

Please bring sun protection and a refillable water bottle. Mahalo nui loa for helping us finish this project!
