About Us
The Queen's Medical Center is a private, non-profit general hospital founded by Queen Emma and King Kamehameha IV in 1859. The Queen's Medical Center in Honolulu is the only Level 1 Trauma Center in Hawaii and the Pacific Basin, and the only hospital to achieve Magnet designation. It is the only facility in the state capable of handling the most complex, life-threatening cases.

We've had over 100 student volunteers during the summer and an average of 300 volunteers year-round who donate their time to provide a variety of tasks that include:

Similarly, retirees seeking to contribute to their community can collaborate with staff to identify suitable volunteer opportunities.
