The Friends of Kamalani & Lydgate Park is a non-profit organization operating in fiscal partnership with the YWCA of Kauai. We are dedicated to the stewardship of Lydgate Beach Park.
We coordinate the every Saturday beach cleanups at the Morgan’s Ponds, 8:30 to 10:30 AM. Volunteers of all abilities are invited to meet near the life guard tower, just check in with any one of the folks wearing a yellow beach cleanup team tee shirt.
Twice each year we come together as a volunteer community to celebrate National Make a Difference Day in late October Earth Day in April.
The Kamalani committee meets on the first Tuesday of each month via Zoom and we review financial records, beach cleanup hours, any special projects or mentions, and plans for activities. If you have a desire to be a part of this committee, be sure to Contact Us and let us know.
