About Us

Mission Statement:
"Empowering Hawai'i's homeless children to break the cycle of poverty through education, mentorship, and life-changing experiences."

Vision Statement:
"A future where every homeless child in Hawai'i has the opportunity to succeed, thrive, and reach their fullest potential."

Project Hawai’i, Inc. is an award-winning, volunteer-driven nonprofit dedicated to serving over 1,600 homeless children annually across O'ahu, Maui, and the Big Island of Hawai'i. We aim to transform the lives of these children by providing stability through engaging programs such as educational summer camps, holiday events, school support, and life skills training. In addition, we offer monthly outreach services, ensuring children have access to nutritious meals, personal hygiene supplies, and emergency resources.

Since our founding in 2003, we are proud to have helped over 2,000 homeless children break free from the cycle of poverty, empowering them to build stronger, more secure futures for themselves and their families.

Our current legacy project is the Dormitory Build to open Fall 2025. This amazing one of its kind program will house homeless young ladies while they attend college. Open to 12 young ladies experiencing homelessness or aging out of foster care.

With more than 23,000 children in Hawai'i living in substandard and homeless conditions, our mission is to end the cycle of poverty for Hawai'i’s keiki.
