Boys & Girls Club of Maui

Boys & Girls Clubs of Maui (BGCM) is a Maui-based nonprofit that inspires and enables young people—especially those who need us most—to reach their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens. Our Clubhouses provide safe, positive spaces after school and during school breaks, offering caring mentorship, academic support, wellness activities, and leadership opportunities that help youth thrive.

Volunteers are an important part of that work. You may support youth through homework help, reading, games, arts and crafts, cultural activities, fitness and recreation, STEM, teen programming, or by simply being a consistent, caring adult presence. Volunteers are supported by BGCM staff with orientation, guidance on our expectations and youth safety, and on-site direction during volunteer shifts.

We are looking for two types of volunteers:

1. Ongoing Clubhouse Volunteers (18+ preferred)
   Volunteers who can commit to a consistent schedule and support youth programming on an ongoing basis (weekly or biweekly is ideal). Having reliable transportation is helpful, as volunteer placements may be at any of our Maui Clubhouses.

2. Event & Project Volunteers
   Volunteers who can help with special events, one-time projects, field trips, activity days, or campus/Clubhouse improvement projects throughout the year.
