Mālama Māla: Princess Nahiʻenaʻena Elementary School

During the month of February, Grow Some Good hosts itʻs annual island-wide school garden workdays which will include multiple schools across Maui. The event aims to create awareness of the importance and impact of school garden programming and to provide much needed love and maintenance to our school gardens.

Community members from all walks of life will be encouraged to get involved at their nearest school garden to give four hours of service to helping maintain and beautify the gardens.

Please join us at Princess Nahiʻenaʻena Elementary School on Saturday February 28th from 8am-12pm!

Our garden coordinator, Lacey, will be leading activities such as sign making, garden bed making, planting, and weeding. Please meet Lacey at the entrance of the school near the office at the start time. 

Families and children are welcome to attend! Please note that there will be no childcare provided and you are responsible for your child. Please fill out a waiver form for each of your children if they attend with you. 

Please be prepared to get your hands dirty! Please bring close toed shoes, a hat, water bottle, and any snacks you may need for the day!
