Epilepsy Foundation of Hawai‘i – Freedom Run Volunteer Team (Aug 2, 2026)
Join us for one of Hawai‘i’s most meaningful community events—the annual Freedom Run, supporting individuals and families affected by epilepsy.
Volunteers are essential to creating a safe, welcoming, and fun experience for over 500+ participants. Whether you’re helping with check-in, guiding runners, supporting our Pet Oasis, or cheering participants across the finish line, you are directly contributing to a cause that brings education, connection, and hope to our community.
Event Details:
- 📍 Kailua High School (Back Gate)
- 📅 Sunday, August 2, 2026
- ⏰ Shifts begin as early as 5:00 AM
No prior experience needed—just a positive attitude and willingness to help.
Come be part of something bigger. Together, we create freedom from stigma, seizures, and epilepsy.
Requirements
- Must be reliable and arrive on time for assigned shift
- Comfortable standing/walking for extended periods
- Able to follow instructions from event leads
- Friendly and respectful to all participants and team members
- Some roles may require light lifting (tables, water cases, signage)
- Early morning availability (some shifts begin at 5:00 AM)
- Closed-toe shoes recommended
