This training is for those who want to be a volunteer KHTH facilitator in peer groups for children, teens, and families, working with children, teens, and their caregivers to recover from grief and trauma. It covers state-of-the-art information on grief and trauma, facilitation skills, and group work skills.
Volunteers are needed during the day for school-based peer groups and in the evenings for groups at another location.
Attendance at both sessions is required.
Training Dates:
We’ll be diving into tools and strategies for supporting keiki and ʻohana through trauma-informed, heart-centered group facilitation. More details (like parking, what to bring, etc.) will be sent as we get closer to the first session.
