Event
Public Volunteer Day
Aloha Animal Sanctuary
Description
Looking for volunteers that feel good about breaking a sweat and doing some manual labor! The day will include some work most likely in landscaping/habitat care and a tour of the sanctuary to meet the residents.
Please wear sneakers or boots and clothes that you don't mind sweating in and getting muddy. No slippers or croc type shoes please, we want your feet to stay safe! Please bring your own water bottle to refill (it can get hot!) and depending on the weather we recommend sunscreen and/or a rain jacket. If you have work gloves, please bring those as well.
Please wait at the green covered front gate for check in. Please register for each person in your party. We will send you a confirmation link with a waiver that should be signed by everyone prior to arrival. If you need assistance with the waiver please arrive earlier for help.
🅿️: As you turn onto Pulama Road, curve with the road. You'll see the green sanctuary fence to your right. Keep in mind we have limited parking spaces so park thoughtfully. Please find your spot along side the fencing.
Thank you so much for supporting your local sanctuary! We look forward to seeing you soon
