Join the Fight Against Childhood Hunger This Summer
The second year of the impactful Kaukau 4 Keiki (K4K) program kicks off on Monday, June 2. Designed to address food insecurity among children in rural O'ahu, K4K provides weekly meal boxes to families with keiki who lose access to school meals during summer break.
This critical initiative relies on strong volunteer support — with 963 volunteers filling 162 shifts over a 9-week period. Volunteers play an essential role by assisting with check-in, meal box distribution, and logistical support at various community locations.
To participate, volunteers must be at least 16 years old and no more than five months pregnant. Enclosed shoes are required at every event. Each shift runs from 8:15 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Your time and effort help ensure that Hawai'i’s keiki do not go hungry when school is out.
No waivers available.
