Parking:
Our community center is located in the middle of Papakōlea, so parking is tricky! Please use the following guidelines when coming to Papakōlea Community Center.
Coming up Tantalus Drive, Papakōlea Community Center will be on your left. The covered gym will be closest to you, and the Community Center is located behind it. You will park facing down Tantalus Drive on the curbs marked with the yellow X in the picture below.
Here's the tricky part: turning around! Tantalus Drive is well-known for speeding vehicles, so please DO NOT U-turn directly on Tantalus Drive. Instead, turn left onto Krauss Street and use the small parking lot marked with the arched yellow arrow. This makes it safer for you to return to Tantalus Drive and park in the designated area in green. If someone's dropping you off, the Krauss parking lot is a good drop-off area; walk downstairs and you're here! Please do not park in areas marked with red arrows, we try to leave these areas for community residents.
