Workshop: Manu o Kū Training for Hands-on Tree Workers

Hawaiʻi Audubon Society is hosting Manu o Kū (White Tern) training for hands on tree workers on Saturday, November 15, 2025. There will be a morning and afternoon session, both for commercial arborists and tree workers. 

Agenda
8:00am – 11:45am: Morning session 
11:14am – 12:45pm: Lunch
12:45pm – 4:00pm: Afternoon session 

Location: Kapiʻolani Community College (KCC), parking in Lot A. Please note Lots B, C and D will be closed for the weekly KCC Farmer’s Market

List of potential volunteer duties

1. Assist with setup: registration table, presenter area, audiovisual equipment (?)

2. Direct participants from parking lot A to Kokiʻo Building

3. Direct arborists and bucket truck to correct location

4. Pick up lunch bentos from Oli’s Kitchen

5. Pick up coffee, malasadas, water/cold drinks

6. Registration table + direct people to QR code to access online materials

7. Hand participants swag (pet carrier box, posters)

8. Assist with breakdown
