Description
Volunteers will be stationed throughout the loading docks, hallways, and lobby. Vendor Guides during the festival will have a critical job of keeping their eyes and ears open throughout their shift. Ensure a safe event and that vendors are feeling supported throughout the festival.
- Help guide volunteers from the parking structure, through the loading docks,
hallways, registration and lobby - Loading dock guides to monitor loading drop off zones and assist with parking
direction - Hallway volunteers to guide vendors from the loading dock to the festival hall and
registration - Provide efficient support during load-in, as vendors have a limited time frame to set
up and break down - Manage security issues and work with the Made in Hawaii Festival Staff to address
potential concerns. This can include vendor theft situations - Manage vendor lines and flow of traffic as needed
- Answer general vendor questions. If unsure, use the chain of command to assist
with communication and addressing question
