Mālama Māla: Haiku Elementary School

Please join us in a Mālama Māla event at Haiku Elementary. This event was re-scheduled from the February 7th event. This event is part of annual island-wide school garden workdays hosted by Grow Some Good. The event aims to create awareness of the importance and impact of school garden programming and to provide much needed love and maintenance to our school gardens.

Community members from all walks of life will be encouraged to get involved at their nearest school garden to give four hours of service to helping maintain and beautify the gardens.

You are invited to join us at Haiku Elementary School on Saturday, March 28th from 8am-12pm!

Grow Some Good garden coordinator, Kiera, will be leading activities to tend the garden with the school community. 

Families and children are welcome to attend! Please note that there will be no childcare provided and you are responsible for your child. Please fill out a waiver form for each of your children if they attend with you.

Please be prepared to get your hands dirty! Please bring close toed shoes, a hat, water bottle, and any snacks you may need for the day.
