2025 Ulu Hana: Pewa Awards

Partners in Development Foundation's Ulu Hana: Pewa Awards is a special evening dedicated to honoring Hawai‘i’s unsung heroes—community members who uplift, protect, and inspire others through quiet but powerful acts of service. This fundraiser supports PIDF’s work across the islands, providing free programs and services to strengthen local families.

We’re looking for committed and energetic volunteers to help us make the evening a success. Whether you prefer behind-the-scenes setup or connecting with guests during the event, there’s a role for everyone!

2025 Ulu Hana: Pewa Awards | Friday, August 8, 2025

Royal Hawaiian Hotel

Event Day Setup Volunteers

Date: Friday, August 8

• Time: 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM

• Location: Royal Hawaiian Hotel (Regency Room III & Monarch Ballroom)

• Parking: Validated at the Sheraton Waikiki

• Perks: Lunch provided

• Role: Assist with setting up tables, signage, and auction displays to create a welcoming event space.

Night-of Event Volunteers

• Date: Friday, August 8

• Time: 4:30 PM – 9:30 PM

• Location: Royal Hawaiian Hotel (Monarch Ballroom)

• Attire: All black or Aloha attire

• Parking: Validated at the Sheraton Waikiki

• Role: Greet guests, assist with guest flow, and help collect donations during the program.

Auction Volunteers

• Date & Time: Same as Night-of Volunteers (August 8, 4:30 PM – 9:30 PM)

• Training Required: Attend a Zoom training on Friday, August 1

  • Session 1: 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM

  • Session 2: 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM

• Role: Help guests participate in the silent auction, answer questions, and assist with auction item pick-up.
