Join us in removing invasive plants from a newly established 7 acre native zone. This is highly important for our native plant friends so they can continue to grow healthy and strong. After the Kona low storm and excessive rain the zone has had a strong impact of overgrowth. As a team we've planted over 2,000 native trees and shrubs and now we need assistance removing the invasive so they do not choke out the natives.
Long pants and long sleeve shirt, sun protection, covered shoes, water bottle, gardening gloves if have. Tools will be provided.
