"Hands in the Soil, Hearts at the Table" is a monthly volunteer day in Waimanalo that invites participants to connect with the land, their health, and the well-being of the local community. Volunteers will work with indigenous and island-adapted plants in our food forests, gaining hands-on experience in sustainable farming while learning about the cultural significance and health benefits of these plants. Afterward, we'll gather for a farm-to-table lunch featuring fresh, locally grown produce, celebrating the shared effort and nourishing both body and spirit. Together, we cultivate not only food but also the health of our ‘ohana and the land we cherish.
