Workday at Freeman Seabird Preserve

In 2007, Houghton and Doreen Freeman gifted the Hawaiʻi Audubon Society a one-acre property at Black Point, a coastal neighborhood near Diamond Head. The parcel, a nesting area for ʻuaʻu kani (Wedge-tailed Shearwaters), is a rare urban seabird colony.
