Genki Ball Making & Tossing. Be a Part of Cleaning the Ala Wai!
Join us for a meaningful, fun-filled morning of community action as we make and toss Genki Balls to help restore the Ala Wai Canal! This is an excellent opportunity to learn, get your hands dirty (in a good way!), and be part of a movement to improve our local environment.
What You’ll Do:
8:15 AM – Event Setup
Help unload supplies
Set up tents, tables, and prepare the site for Genki Ball making.
9:00 AM – Program Begins
Welcome & educational talk: Learn about the Genki Ala Wai Project and the day’s activities
Hands-on Genki Ball making at the tables
Walk to the canal and toss the Genki Balls into the water.
10:45 AM – Clean-Up
Break down tents and tables.
Pack up supplies and restore the lawn area.

What to Bring:
Closed-toe shoes, sun protection (hat/sunscreen), reusable water bottle, and your aloha spirit!
Park at school parking from Wai Nani Way
Restrooms: Available at the venue
Valuables: Please avoid bringing them — no secure storage is available. Keep essentials (ID, money) in a pocket or fanny pack.
