The Nature Conservancy

The Nature Conservancy's Kauaʻi Terrestrial Team works to protect and restore the unique native forests and watersheds of Kauaʻi, with a special focus on the Alakaʻi Plateau, one of Hawaiʻi's most important ecological treasures. This remote, high-elevation rainforest is home to rare native plants, endangered forest birds, and species found nowhere else on Earth.
